Connecting small communities and suburban neighborhoods, the 22-mile West Orange Trail is one of Florida's most popular rail-trails, thanks to its reputation and proximity to metro Orlando. Built on old railroad alignments, the world-class 14-foot wide paved trail goes through urban and suburban sections of Orange County including passing through the downtowns of Oakland and Apopka.We will be starting the trail from Downtown Wintergarden and making a 2 mile loop. Carpooling if available is encouraged and we are asking that you are AT the meeting point (in front of city hall), ready to go by 10am so we can start the walk on time!
