Please see email from Aidan with full route details, which will be a loop commencing at New Mills Central train station in Derbyshire.

The walk will start at the station and we will make our way through the Deryshire countryside to Buxworth, then following the canal up to Furness Vale and back to New Mills. 

We will have a lunch stop along the way and the all important pub stop to finish! Please bring snacks and a packed lunch. There is a midway pub but limited food options.

 In parts there will be some inclines and styles to climb over. It will also be wet in some areas as crosses farmlands so walking boots are highly recommended. 

Dogs are welcome but will need to be on a lead in some parts of the work over farmland.
