Vogel Alcove is a local non-profit organization that serves as many as 200 homeless children each day at no cost to families. They are dedicated to helping children recover from the effects of homelessness. They provide childcare, onsite therapy, education, mental health support, parenting support and more to families who are homeless. This program helps to guarantee healthy meals, and safe place to rest for children who may not otherwise get quality sleep when they are away at night.  While their children are in care at Vogel Alcove, parents, most of whom are single mothers, have the opportunity to work, look for work or go to school.
