I’m celebrating 10 years of Walk the World with Informa by raising money for World Child Cancer.

Since it’s inauguration, Walk the World has encouraged Informa colleagues around the globe to spend time together outside the office, to have fun and make an impact for local charities. Over the past 10 years, we’ve almost raised a collective £2 million for these charities – will you support me and help us raise even more?

Any donations are greatly appreciated and go towards the incredible work my chosen charity does.

Fighting for Equal Access to Childhood Cancer Care

Every child deserves a fair chance at life, regardless of where they're born. Yet, the stark reality is that childhood cancer survival rates can be as low as 10% in developing countries, compared to 80% in developed nations. This is where World Child Cancer steps in, working tirelessly to bridge this devastating gap.

As the leading international children's charity focused on addressing global inequality in childhood cancer care, World Child Cancer is making remarkable strides. Their mission is beautifully simple yet profound: to ensure every child with cancer has equal access to the best treatment and care.

The numbers tell a sobering story – 300,000 children develop cancer each year. Many of these young lives are in low and middle-income countries, where access to proper diagnosis, treatment, and care remains a significant challenge. Working alongside the World Health Organization's ambitious target of achieving a 60% childhood cancer survival rate by 2030, World Child Cancer is actively transforming lives in multiple countries, including Mexico and the Philippines.

What makes their work particularly impactful is the ripple effect it creates. When a child receives proper cancer care, it doesn't just affect their immediate future – it influences generations to come. Through their programs, World Child Cancer is not just saving lives today; they're building a foundation for better healthcare systems tomorrow.
