I'm walking 42km just after my 43rd birthday – will you help me make it count?
Some of you might know that I used to volunteer at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
I was visiting kids with my dog Canto, and we spent time with children (and families) going through unimaginably tough things.
Many of those moments have stayed with me.
It’s impossible to forget the resilience of kids who should never have to face cancer in the first place.
That’s why, on 10th July – just a few days after I turn 43 – I’ll be walking 42km to raise money for World Child Cancer UK (the dog won't be joining on that one).
If you're wondering what to get me for my birthday this year, I'd love it if you considered donating instead.
Any donation, big or small, is deeply appreciated and will go towards the incredible work World Child Cancer UK does to support children and families when they need it most.
Thank you so much – and wish me luck with the blisters!
