I’m celebrating 10 years of Walk the World with Informa by raising money for {charity_name}.

Since it’s inauguration, Walk the World has encouraged Informa colleagues around the globe to spend time together outside the office, to have fun and make an impact for local charities. Over the past 10 years, we’ve almost raised a collective £2 million for these charities – will you support me and help us raise even more?

Post Hip Op WTW

On August 1st 2024, at aged 52 (so fairly youngish), I had complete left hip replacement. As a keen dog walker, the pain had finally become too much and on investigation it was concluded that I have hip dysplasia.  One hip has been corrected...but the other leg is 5mm shorter.  I will need the right hip replaced but until then, wear a 5mm heel raiser.  Now, I am walking really well with limited pain - BUT, city walking is not for me.  So, I've opted for a solo walk - well, me and my trusty spaniel, Jasper, and I will aim to complete this in July 2025.
