South Parking Lot, Discovery Park
Thank you for your support!
South Parking Lot, Discovery Park Discovery Park is the destination, not far from any of us by my estimation. The walk will start and end in the South Lot, so park in that spot. (Off W. Emerson, turn onto Caroline Street, that’s the place we’ll meet.)
To the lighthouse we will go, at a pace that’s not too slow. Across the beach, through the forest, skirting the wetlands, not yet at our sorest. Past the cemetery and to the field, start thinking about the celebration meal. Cocktail, beer, or wine, everyone? Luckily there’s budget to have a ton. Our stomachs will be grumbling, and now is the time I’ll start to hear some mumbling, So back to the parking lot, and on to the public house grub spot.
Hooray 5.5 miles done, now time to relax in the sun.
Directly after the walk, drive a few miles until you hear the seagulls squawk.
Highliner Public House at Fishermen's Terminal is where we'll get our fill.
