Walk description
A fascinating walk through the hop farming industry in and around Hadlow, past and present.
Hadlow is a beautiful village in the Weald of Kent surrounded by farmland and orchards.
The full 13 km walk will start at St Mary's Church, which is close to the iconic Hadlow Tower, and follows a scenic route passing both the River Bourne & River Medway, the Hop Farm in Paddock Wood and the pretty village of Golden Green.
The route is mainly made up of unsurfaced, rural footpaths and is fairly level throughout.
There is another walk available which is 2.5 kms, this route is a circular tour through Hadlow Village and uses only paved paths. It is level and ungated, making it more suitable for those that may have mobility issues.
