Everyone taking part in Walk the World must register, so we can track how far we are all walking and how much money is being raised for charity. You’ll be asked for your t-shirt size and your work address when you register so we can send you an exclusive Walk the World t-shirt.
Once you’ve completed the registration form, please go ahead and make a donation (£15 or $15 minimum) to your office charity (see your charity listed on your walk page here) Don’t forget, we want everyone to raise as much money as possible for their Divisional charity, and you’ll get a day off work if you donate at least £150/$250 (or local amount given)!
Visit the Get Involved area of this website for more details about taking part in Walk the World.
We suggest offices offer one or more of the following distances: 20km; 10km; and 3km to allow for a variation of abilities, challenge preferences and time out of the office. However, your walk does not have to fit this specification. We challenge you to walk as far as possible!
Anyone can take part in Walk the World. Why not organise a walk for your office and invite your colleagues to join? Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for information on how to organise a walk.
Home worker? No problem, take yourself for a walk or invite friends and family to join you. Simply pledge a distance on the registration form, make a donation to the charity your nearest office is affiliated with (check via our Global Walks page), and complete your walk before June 30.
You may choose to support your own charity, in which case, we do ask that you complete our fundraising form by 30 June so the amount is captured in our grand total. This is very important, so please don’t forget!
