This walk offers a great opportunity to explore the rugged cliffs, secluded coves, parkland and remnant bushland of Sydney Harbour’s southeastern foreshores. Along the way there are historic houses and gardens, magnificent sandy beaches and breathtaking harbour views. This walk forms the middle link in a series of connected harbour and coastal walks. Allow approximately 2-3 hours to complete the 8km walks from Rose Bay to Watsons Bay.
A bus will be provided to take Informa employees from the Kent Street office to Rose Bay. After a recuperative drink and some lunch all walkers and runners can make their own way home via ferry or bus.
All walkers and runners to meet at Watson’s Bay Hotel at the finish line!
Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) is an independent charity that helps families of seriously ill children. We help keep families together and close to the care their child needs. The cornerstone program of RMHC, the Ronald McDonald House®, provides a ‘home away from home’ for families of seriously ill children being treated at nearby hospitals. In 1981 the first Australian Ronald McDonald House opened in Sydney’s Camperdown. There are now 16 Ronald McDonald Houses in Australia and more than 360 houses worldwide.
